I’m Luis Alejandro Bernal, MPP, PMP®.
With over 30 years of leadership across four continents, I partner with a variety of actors, including international development organizations, national governments, businesses, and public-private partnerships, to design, implement, and evaluate high-impact initiatives in the world’s most complex environments.
I specialize in initiatives that promote sustainable growth through Economic Opportunity, Trade, and Investment, while supporting inclusive development in Women’s Empowerment, Workforce Training, and Citizen Security. My focus is on turning strategy into action by implementing programs that enhance stability, social inclusion, and resilient economic systems.
Economic Opportunity Systems
I lead specialized consulting to turn policy into prosperity. My expertise in trade, investment, and entrepreneurship helps partners empower micro and small businesses and drive women’s economic empowerment through practical, results-oriented field management.
Strategic Programming
While donors provide the project’s initial design, I provide field-based evidence to ensure it works. I specialize in diagnosing program friction and refocusing strategies to meet evolving goals in migration, citizen security, and socioeconomic inclusion.
Technical Leadership
I bridge the gap between donor strategy and field-level execution. Leveraging 30 years of global experience, I provide the strategic oversight and technical guidance necessary to keep initiatives in education, workforce training, and public health aligned with their original impact goals.
