My grants and evaluation work spans 35 years and more than 25 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, and the United States. I have assessed and helped secure funding for grant-funded programs with a combined portfolio of over USD 900 million, serving foundations, public agencies, national governments, multilateral organizations, and nonprofit implementers. My work focuses on understanding program effectiveness, strengthening implementation, and supporting evidence-based decisions — synthesizing complex findings into clear, practical insights.

Local Engagement in Southwest Florida
- The Immokalee Foundation (Collier County, FL). External grants consultant (2015–2017): researched, wrote, monitored, and reported on federal, state, local, and private/foundation grants for a nonprofit advancing education and economic mobility for Immokalee youth.
- Florida SBDC at Florida Gulf Coast University (Fort Myers, FL). Small business counselor (2006): advised local entrepreneurs on business planning, financial analysis, and growth strategies, and served as liaison to regional economic-development institutions.

- USAID – Vietnam: Evaluation Team Leader, "Improving Private Sector Competitiveness" performance evaluation — a five-year, USD 36 million program (2024).
- ITC / European Commission – Colombia: Evaluation Team Leader, "Colombia PUEDE" — peace and productive development through cocoa, lime, and coconut value chains (2023).
